An excellent general purpose pumps capable of vacuum pressures to 5 x 10-4 Torr or .5 micron with fast recovery times. It is a direct drive pump, offering high volumetric efficiency with ease of portability.

The 12501 vacuum pump is equipped with a gas ballast valve which helps purify the oil of condensable vapors and limit corrosion. This also includes a new generation forced oil lubrication system.

The 12501 also incorporate a new generation anti-suckback valve to eliminate reverse flow of evacuated vapors and pump oil back-streaming. This also allows for the pump to be operated at higher pressures. There is also an integrated fan, for cool operation. This pump uses the standard (KF/QF/NW) quick release flange fittings on both intake and exhaust ports to allow for quick connection / disconnection to vacuum systems. The pump is supplied with a charge of oil and an extra quart of Direct Drive Oil. The 12501 pump has a mounting flange for attachment of external oil filtration systems.

Special feature of the 12501 pump is the extremely low operating noise level, this does not exceed 57dB.
